SHOULD I APPLY FOR A DRAW LICENSE OR JUST GET AN OVER THE COUNTER (OPEN BULL) LICENSE?

Rifle elk hunters have the option of buying an over the counter (General Open Bull) license which allows you to hunt our private leases and open bull units, or you may apply for a Limited Entry Bull Elk Unit. 

Check out the very inexpensive cost of the Limited Entry Bull Elk Unit.  If your interested, call us and we will tell you what unit to apply for.  Many serious elk hunters consider it to be the best elk area anywhere in the United States. 

In fact, numerous bulls over 400 are harvested every year.  If you do not draw, you will receive a preference point, which  increases your odds of drawing the next year.  The deadline for the Limited Entry Bull Elk Unit is 02-16-07.  If you do not draw or you miss the drawing, you can buy an over the counter (General Open Bull) license beginning June 14th, 2007.
